Fundação Joana Vasconcelos joined the campaign Dar Luz a Esta Causa, a charity exhibition and auction organized by CAPITI (Portuguese Association for Children Development) on the occasion of the World Mental Health Day.

Over thirty Portuguese artists were invited to devise an artwork from the same model of a lamp. Joana Vasconcelos accepted the challenge, alongside renowned artists such as Ana Vidigal, Julião Sarmento, Pedro Cabrita Reis, Vhils, among many others.

The exhibition was officially opened by the President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, on 10 October, at the Electricity Museum, in Lisbon. The auction took place on the same day and raised over 30 thousand euros, which will fund treatments to children with neurologic impairment.
