The film Joana Vasconcelos: Time Machine documents the artist’s most ambitious exhibition ever to be realized in the UK, following the whole process - since the final stages of production of the works in the studio, in Lisbon, until the installation at Manchester Art Gallery. The film shows the behind-the-scenes of a large exhibition and shares with the viewer multiple perspectives over the work of Joana Vasconcelos – from the artist’s personal perspective, to the museum director and exhibition curator’s vision, among others.
