The creation and sale of editions, in partnership with third parties, finances the foundation’s projects, such as scholarships and grants, as well as initiatives in the arts. Moreover it promotes the artist’s work though different channels.

The French furniture brand Roche Bobois challenged Joana Vasconcelos to reinterpret some of its most emblematic pieces, including the iconic Mah Jong sofa. The result is a unique collection, where the artist uses the materials and techniques that characterise her work to grant a sculpture-like dimension to the pieces of Roche Bobois.

The film Joana Vasconcelos: Time Machine documents the artist’s most ambitious exhibition ever to be realized in the UK, following the whole process - since the final stages of production of the works in the studio, in Lisbon, until the installation at Manchester Art Gallery. The film shows the behind-the-scenes of a large exhibition and shares with the viewer multiple perspectives over the work of Joana Vasconcelos – from the artist’s personal perspective, to the museum director and exhibition curator’s vision, among others.
