Fundação Joana Vasconcelos is taking part in the charity auction in favour of ILGA Portugal and joins the cause for the rights of the LGBTI community.

ILGA Portugal is a Portuguese charity with recognised public utility and the oldest organisation in Portugal to support the rights of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and intersex (LGBTI) community.

Around 40 renowned Portuguese artists donated a work to support the campaign for the human rights if the LGBTI community. The raised funds will benefit the activities of ILGA, including the LGBT Centre, which celebrates its 20^th anniversary.

The Contemporary Art Charity Auction takes place at Veritas, Lisbon, on 8 May, at 10 pm.
