Fundação Joana Vasconcelos has joined the jeweller David Rosas and the charity Corações com Coroa to support a social cause.

Joana Vasconcelos accepted the challenge and created Vortex, a gold and rubi necklace. The jewel has been auctioned and funds were entirely donated to Corações com Coroa, a charitable organization dedicated to the promotion of solidarity, equal opportunities and socio-emocional inclusion of people in vulnerable situations or facing poverty.

The work was displayed at David Rosas store in Av. da Liberdade, in Lisbon, and was auctioned online by Veritas, Art Auctioneers from 20 to 27 March.
