Fundação Joana Vasconcelos took part in The Fabergé Big Egg Hunt, a fundraising initiative that spread out over 250 large egg sculptures through New York City’s five boroughs from 1 to 26 April.

The world's biggest egg hunt gathered exquisite egg sculptures created by the world's leading artists, designers, architects and photographers. The public was encouraged to find all the eggs, with the possibility to win Fabergé prizes. The event culminated in an auction, run by Sotheby's, which generated funds to support Elephant Family and Studio in a School.

Joana Vasconcelos created Candy Egg, made with handmade woolen crochet, ‘hidden’ in the legendary tea salon Ladurée.
