100 Contra a Sida [100 Against AIDS] gathered works by 100 artists with the aim of supporting the cause of the Portuguese League Against AIDS.

On the occasion of the World AIDS Day, artists from several different areas such as painting, sculpture, photography, music, cinema, and fashion contributed with their works to the charitable exhibition. The funds raised have helped to finance a mobile unit for AIDS screening.

Joana Vasconcelos joined the cause, togheter with artists such as Paula Rego, Eduardo Nery, Júlio Pomar, João Cutileiro, Manuel Cargaleiro, Pedro Cabrita Reis, Ana Salazar, José António Tenente, Luís Buchinho, Júlio Resende, among many others.

The exhibition took place at Fundação Champalimaud, Lisbon, between 28 November and 2 December 2012.
