Joana Vasconcelos at MGM MACAU – Orbis Fundraising Program
A fundraising program to help Orbis, a non-profit organisation dedicated to the prevention and treatment of blindness, has been launched on the occasion of the exhibition Joana Vasconcelos at MGM MACAU, which presented the monumental installation of Valkyrie Octopus at MGM’s Grande Praça, between March and October 2015.
Because the vision and the visual arts have an indisputable relation, MGM MACAU has devised a pastry inspired by Vasconcelos’s work, which was on sale during the exhibition period and whose profits reverted to Orbis. The program raised 21.000 €.
