“Artists in Belém's Palace” with Joana Vasconcelos
The Portuguese President praised Joana Vasconcelos' large scale contribution to the culture and prestige of the country and thanked her participation in closing the program "Artists in Belém's Palace".
The initiative launched by Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa to give students from all over the country (such as the ones from IBN Mucana Secondary School in Alcabideche, Cascais, pictured here) the opportunity «to hear the great artists, the great inventors, the great artisans of the national genius in the field of visual arts» had the contributions, among others, of Graça Morais, Pedro Cabrita Reis and Rui Chafes. «Today we end a cycle with a golden key», concluded the head of State.
