«Music has always been a huge part of my life. To the extent that it often finds its way into my sculptures, from the Portuguese Fado to Sinatra's "Strangers in the Night" or Bizet's "Carmen". Therefore, I'm delighted to take part in this project that brings together a social cause and the love of music», clarified Joana Vasconcelos. 

“Flower Power” originated from the challenge to a bunch of leading contemporary artists, to customise Fender Stratocaster guitars for auction and help support the work of @bigissueuk and the homeless people in time of pandemic. The Big Art Auction will be a live-streamed event, taking place at 19.00 on 4 November at The Auction Collective.
