Fundação Joana Vasconcelos joined once again the gala Le Bal de La Riviera, that welcomed celebrities, members of royal families and aristocrats for a philanthropic weekend in Estoril – the Portuguese Riviera, as Antoine de Saint-Exupéry named it.

The main purpose of this year’s event was to raise awareness on the preservation of the ocean and the protection of the environment. All profits from the event were to benefit Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, dedicated to the protection of the environment and the promotion of sustainable development.

Prince Albert II of Monaco received the Tribute Award designed by Joana Vasconcelos, made of Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro faience, in recognition of the work carried out by his foundation.
